What's New

The latest updates and improvements to Build Anything.

Polish on the new side-tag badge

The side-tag badge on your published apps gets a closer fit and a cleaner menu. The wordmark now sits with tighter padding and letter-spacing on a slimmer tag (one pixel smaller, and a bit smaller again on phones). Tapping the tag now opens its menu from the top of the tag and only flips it upward when it would run off the bottom of your screen, and the menu header shows the full Build Anything lockup instead of just the icon.

Editor icon buttons no longer crushed

The icon-only buttons in the app editor (and a few other spots) sometimes loaded squished down into thin slivers instead of full squares, depending on which page you arrived from. They now reliably render at their proper size.

New side-tag badge

The “Build Anything” badge on your published apps has a fresh look: instead of a round button in the corner, it’s now a slim vertical tag that hugs the side of the screen with the wordmark running down it. You can still grab it and drag it — now to either side and to any height you like — and it remembers where you put it. Tapping it opens the same menu to edit, remix, share, or start a new app.

Smoother mobile chat

Opening the chat on a phone now feels properly on top of your app. Scrolling the chat now stays inside the chat sheet instead of dragging your app around behind it, and the builder no longer drifts sideways. The builder behind the chat sheet also no longer reacts to stray taps or scrolls, so you can’t accidentally nudge your app while typing, and the bar at the bottom of the screen now consistently matches the chat sheet — white in light mode — instead of sometimes staying brand red.
